Forza Horizon 4

Imagine cruising through the countryside in your favorite car. Racing on and off road going faster than you have ever dreamed of. This is all possible in the game Forza Horizon 4. The graphics in this game are crystal clear; The cars and people in this game look real. There are more than 450 cars to drive and customize. There are three main parts to this game: going through the tutorial, buying and customizing cars, and competing in races.

When a person first gets the game it takes them through a tutorial of what the game is about. The game has 4 seasons, the tutorial takes them through summer, fall, winter, and spring. For each season it lets the player drive different cars to experience what each season is like. Once they get done with the tutorial there are races and other events to do. After the player has completed the tutorial they are able to purchase and upgrade cars.

In this game, there are so many cars to pick from; there are dune buggies, trophy trucks, sports cars, hypercars, muscle cars, and rally cars. Once the player picks a vehicle, they are able to upgrade it. Upgrading the motor is the first way to upgrade a car. There are many upgrades that can be done to the motor. Each upgrade gives the car more horsepower which makes it go faster. If the player doesn’t want to upgrade the engine but they want their car to go faster, they can buy a tune for it. A tune is an upgrade that someone else has made for the car. Tunes tend to give cars a lot of horsepower; some tunes can give the car one or two thousand horsepower. The second way to upgrade a car is by the looks. Spoilers, tires, rims, bumpers, and splitters are a few examples of accessories to put on the car to make it look better. The player can also change the color of their car, or buy different wraps for it. Upgrading cars in this game is one of my favorite things to do because it is so realistic and it is a good way to get more performance out of a car. After upgrading a car the player is ready to race.

There are three main types of races to do in Forza Horizon 4: road racing, dirt racing, and cross country racing. The game lets the player pick a car for each of these races. The first type of racing is road racing; Road racing is racing on paved roads and highways. This type of racing can be done with any type of car, but it is mostly done with sports cars. The second type of racing is dirt racing, also known as rally racing; dirt racing is done on dirt or gravel roads, through the woods or open fields. This type of racing is usually done with Trophy trucks or rally cars. The third type of race is cross country racing. This type of race takes place off road through fields, mountains, and woods. This type of racing is usually done with dune buggies, trophy trucks, or any type of off road vehicle. Any type of car can be used for any type of race.  For example, it is not ideal to race a sports car in a cross country race but it is possible in the game.

The three main parts to Forza Horizon 4 are completing the tutorial, buying and customizing cars, and competing in races. If someone looking for a great racing game where they can race on and off road with almost any type of car, and be able to upgrade the car just the way they want it. I would highly recommend this game to them. I would rate this game five out of five stars.
