Apex is a multiplayer game that's played by 70 million people. It was released in February of 2019. A good game being free is really a difficult thing to find, which really makes this game stand out in the gaming community. Some may wonder if this game is even worth the download but in my personal opinion, it is. 

Apex legends is a basic first-person shooter game, but what makes it different is the battle royal aspect of the game. This game has made a unique group of characters you pick from to play in a squad with two other people. You win by using the stuff you find to be the last team standing. When playing in the game you have challenges you can complete to obtain rewards for your characters and weapons. Having challenges helps give players the incentive to keep playing. 

The game modes offered in this are regular squads and ranked squads which allows you to play with people more on your skill level. However, sometimes the game will offer new modes like solos or duos, and during the holidays offer a whole new type of style, for example, the past Halloween they had a shadow mode which allowed the player to come back as a zombie type of character with different abilities than just any regular character. This game can be very addictive, it's not a very difficult game for new players and because you play on the same map you can easily remember the best places to go for loot. While playing in the game if you mess up you can be revived by another team which makes it a fun team working game. 

Despite the game having so many positive qualities every game will have its negative qualities too. Having the same map to play might make it easier to remember where everything is but playing it over and over can get tedious and even annoying. It allows some to get the feeling that they already know the outcome of what is happening for wherever you decide to land. Also with that I feel like the game would attract a lot more players if they make it a cross-platform game A game in which players on different consoles can play in the same game together, since not everyone has friends that use the same console as them so having the cross-platform would make it more enjoyable for players that like to play with their friends and not just random people. Overall I think those would be the only minor complaints I have for the game, but there are just too many things to like about this game to change my mind about it being good. Also to add on to the awesome game while playing the players have a choice of buying a battle pass and earn more items for inventory, but the best part of this is that you don't have to spend money to earn cool stuff, you might not get as much as you would buying the battle pass but at least you can still earn cool things. 

In conclusion, this game is enjoyable to play, it's definitely worth the download. The gameplay is entertaining and has a lot to offer. I'm really happy with what respawn entertainment has and I'm excited to see what they will release next.  I really recommend this game to anyone looking for an adventurous up pace game.
