Minecraft, a game that has won many awards, might be the best game to ever be made. The game is the single best-selling video game of all time and has won seven awards since its release in 2009. The game won the award for Most Addicting Game at the Kids Choice Awards and Best Family Game at the BAFTA in 2015 and then won another award at the BAFTAs the following year.

The game lets you show your creativity in creative mode where you can build whatever you want with hundreds of different blocks. You could also go into survival mode and try and survive mobs like, the ender dragon, wither skeletons, zombies, and drowns. With endless possibilities Minecraft is able to gain popularity since they have something for everyone. The purpose of the game is to make it to the end, a special little world, and kill the ender dragon. To get to the end you have to collect materials and upgrade your armor and tools so you don’t die. If you die in survival you drop all your stuff and respawn at your spawn point. In Minecraft the possibilities are endless, you can build a house, make a train, explore caves and even search villages for chest full of goodies.

New updates are coming to the game soon. Places like the nether, a world full of fire, lava and different mobs, is getting a major update. The update does not have a release date yet but many youtubers have been given the update to show to viewers what is coming to minecraft in the future. The update will have new blocks that can be found in the nether. Similar to the aquatic update, the update will mostly focus on one part of the minecraft world.

This game has let me express myself through building a ton of different things in creative and challenged my mind when I go into survival mode. When in survival I love that it gives you achievements when you complete a curtain task or collect a curtain object. Minecraft is able to let the player show their creativity and challenge their mind all in the same game.
