Activision is continuing the storyline of CoD ( Call of Duty)
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is the 8th Call of Duty after: CoD 1, CoD 2, CoD 3, CoD Modern warfare, CoD World at War, CoD black ops and CoD modern warfare 2!
Activision has two general game makers. Treyarch and Infinity Ward. They make a call of duty year by year, like Infinity ward in 2010 and Treyarch in 2011. Call of Duty Black ops 2 is a game made by Treyarch. Call of Duty Black ops was a very high rated game so Treyarch wanted to continue that with Black ops 2. Call of Duty Black ops 2 was a turnaround for the Treyarch games. The game was hated by a lot of people. Some people that bought it even refused to play the game.
Black ops 2 was different than Black ops 1. People liked Black ops 1 for its “oldschoolness” and people said there was no “bullshit” in the game. People didn’t like Black ops 2 because there were lots of glitches and there was no balance in the weapons to use.

Black ops 2 was in the year 2025. It was made as an futuristic game. That’s why there were some things in the game that we don’t know today like floating islands etc. The storyline was also happening in 2025. The storyline was about a few man that were from Black ops 1 that returned to the game Black ops 1. They had to save the world for the army that was built by Raul Menendez.
He built an army in the middle east to fight against America. You play as him, but also as a few American soldiers like Alex Mason, Frank Woods and Mike Harper. Those are all in-game persons.
It is sequel of Black ops 1 that was in The cold war.
The war between Raul Menendez and America is mostly for rare things in the ground.

The game also has an Zombie mode where you have to fight against waves of Zombies.
There are 6 maps.
You have Die rise which takes place in a broken skyscraper in China.
Mob of the Dead which is at the Alcatraz prison in Los Angeles.
Buried which is a map under the ground, an underground city.
Green run which is at a bus depot in the middle of nowhere.
Origins which is a map with the characters of the Black ops 1 zombies.
You also have Nuketown which is a nuclear testing city where they had thrown a Nuclear Bomb.
You play with 4 characters which of those you are is completely random.

I really liked the game, but a few of my friends say that’s because this is my first Call of Duty.
They didn’t like it at all. They would almost never play it.
I would recommend it as your first Call of duty ( although there is a newer one )
However if you played an Call of Duty before I wouldn’t recommend it because you may not like it.
