Imagine getting a house sold to you with a wine cellar, maybe an old house you find late at night, or even a machine for pigs? Amnesia is like that with many, and I mean many custom stories with horror, background, and wit with the creators who make each one. Other based on comedy like ‘It Hurts My Eyes!’ is nothing like the horror and blood rush this game gives you. ‘Amnesia- the Dark Descent’ is one of many horror stories, and one of the originals unlike ‘Machine for Pigs’ which came out around 2013-2014.

Many YouTubers have played this with funny moments of them screaming or getting scared, but also how it is good with each creators work. YouTuber who started with Amnesia was the now famous Markiplier ‘Game’ (Mark Edward Fischbach) on his original channel Markiplier before it was shut down for the name being taken. After getting his channel back, he uploaded the montage of funny moments from the game. Even though he stared out with Amnesia, PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye, RPGMinx, ect… have played the game.

Is this game to watch or play? Well, if you like to be jump-scared more than in FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy’s) then be my guess to play it to see yourself, but if you like watching other people scream like they saw a dead body with a giant bite mark in its side then watch someone play it. Either there is no way you won’t feel as if someone is watching you behind your back going back up your stairs, or that you neighbor is okay if he sends you a note and you think it’s a ‘joke’.

Dose this game lose it pitch of horror? Well, depends on the person. Yes, the game is good, but for most it just isn’t scary as most clam FNAF or the Slenderman games, but that’s someone who isn’t scared or just can’t be scared a game anymore. Still, for most it leaves a feeling of ‘someone-or-something-is-right-behind-you’. Still it’s up to you if it lost the feeling of being scary after a few games and it’s another Slender game or FNAF.

How old is oaky to play? I think around 15-and up would be okay, but if someone hasn’t played/watched horror I wouldn’t suggest you watch it, since some of the monsters, sounds, and dialog isn’t what you call…..kid friendly. Yet, if you have seen played/watched horror I think it might be okay, but look at other reviews before you play the game.

In conclusion, Amnesia a great game, but isn’t for all kids who haven’t watch horror or played a horror game like this. Also, that it just might or might not be a scary game for some people, but is sure creepy.
