Faster
Swimming.
Defined as a sport of moving yourself through the water by using all parts of your body. You're constantly in motion. Moving your arms and legs as fast as possible with the goal of touching the wall before anyone else. You feel your heart pounding, your muscles burning, and your lungs screaming.
Faster.
You stare at the black line at the bottom of the pool for so long that you start to see stars but can't breathe because of the fear your coach will yell at you.
Faster.
You're kicking as hard as you can but your coach still says kick harder.
Faster. No matter how fast you go, you're always expected to go faster because it's the only way to get better.
