You're Always With Me
I think about you more than you can
Imagine.
So many times in a day I
Commemorate
You it is hard to believe;
I took you for
Granted.
You and dad have always tried to
Prepare
Us for the
Worst;
Warned us of your condition,
Yet it was,
It is,
Physically and emotionally
Impossible.
Two months, nine days, and
Counting
Since the
Tragedy
I still
Tear
And feel
Awful
How you are
Gone
From touch, from voice.
Clouds of
Nostalgia
Run through my brain
As sunlight pauses the wonderful
Memories,
Lightning strikes with
Regret,
Rain falls like
Teardrops,
And rainbows take over to remind me to
Stay positive
And continue to
Live,
For myself
And for
You.
