Misted
a few feet in front,
that's all I can see,
breathing shallowly,
scared of whats out there,
take a deep breath,
keep your wits about you,
it could happen at any time,
avoid the bodies,
keep your mask on,
without it you turn,
none can stop it,
their bodies cant take the struggle,
bleeding from every pore,
brain goes numb,
immensely hungry you become,
there is no avoiding it,
it happens no matter where you are,
live underwater upon the ocean floor,
soon water-born i becomes,
no vaccine to be made,
for its an impossible virus,
the mist is its form,
a superman with no kryptonite in sight.
