Wishing on Shooting Stars
Wishing on shooting stars,
For us to run away,
Forget the world, our lives, it all,
Come in my arms and stay.
Broken mirrors and broken hearts,
How far did we grow apart?
I try and try and try,
To fix what's left of you,
To make you see what could be,
And see what's really true.
And as I start succeeding,
And think it's all okay.
You stab me in the back again,
And take it all away.
But your knife I still hold sacred,
With all the blood it drew.
Though I'm trying very hard,
To forget that I know you.
