A Cold Day on My Highway
A cold day on my highway
He lied cold and dead
They tried to revive him
They tried to hide him on that solid bed
He's been drinking and i've been thinking
About the time we spent
He was a good man with a good heart
And he was my good friend
He told me stories on the porch
He lived a wonderous life
He has been living in the dark but now is living in the light

This was one of my first pieces when I started writing poetry. I dedicated it to a good friend named Mr.Levon. He was my next door neighbore, I always would walk to his house. He told me about his life and exsperiences.
