The glossy patent
The sky-high stilettoes
Her longing eyes on the other side
of the stainless glass.
She admires
worships
the future the high heels promise.
Now, she swipes the magic card
hugs the dear pair to her heart
only to discover
the gorgeous shoes she has always wanted
shatter
all that lies beneath.
