The Grassland
A lion grazes,
The small, yellow children weep—
Blue world without end.

The Ocean
Beautiful in blue,
Lapped in exasperation,
The waves kiss the sky.

The Jungle
Laughing in the trees,
Baby gorilla dances.
Will he find his rage?
***
The Tundra
Cold and desolate
Green grass peaks out from the frost
There is no earth here
***
The Earth
Beneath the soil,
The scorched earth cries out in vain.
The sorry world ends.
