Silent Crying
You could see her cry
Doors slamming, screaming for help
No one could hear her.
The neighbor just stood
As if he was the only one there
Solid as a rock
The screaming got louder
Breaking windows like a storm
Only God could hear
With just a loud bang
And the silence of the town
The crying had stopped
And as the neighbor stood
There was a huge stir in the air
He still did not move
He knew what was wrong
Like a rock he could not move
For the man was blind.
