The Homeless Dog
Oh! How the homeless dog
With fur so dirty and scrappy
Who lay’s in the cold and fog
Can make me fell so happy
With teeth so large and brown
And eyes so cute and cuddly
I can almost see his frown
I read a name that says studly
Where are his owners that once loved his so dearly?
With his name so cute a perfect
It comes to me clearly
This dog I must protect
I now call this dog lucky
He lives with me in Kentucky
