Fields of Alabama
Looking over the green trees far as the eye can see,
A perfect paradise made in nature just for me.
Find the mountains with fog-covered tops,
Pine cones falling to the ground like precious raindrops.
Rivers flowing full of life,
Cut through the valleys like a jagged knife.
Sun shines down in an infinite array of light,
A million stars shine in the middle of the night.
This is why we live here in this wonderland,
Forests abundant in tress, beaches covered in sand.
Fall down in this field and discover the wonder,
Listen in the valleys for the echoes of thunder.
This is nature’s beauty and nature’s child,
Nothing on Earth can tame this magnificent wild.
