End Of The Path
If I walked a thousand miles,
Just to see your face,
If I journeyed to the end of the Earth,
Could I possible end this chase
For your forgiveness,
For I’ve done you wrong.
I realize in the melancholy song,
I’m getting over you some of the time,
But this hill is one I can barely climb.
I’m hanging on to a despairing hope
But realizing I’m at the end of my rope.
I lost my senses,
As my heart gleefully broke,
And now our paths diverge.
