Alone
Her makeup is smeared, she’s been crying, it’s clear
No one stops to ask why, or even say “Hi”
She walks down the halls, as if there only walls
She’s on the brink, just waiting to sink
In her mind she screams ‘please, I’m not some disease’
She looks in the mirror, her face showing fear
She doesn’t know why, she can’t help but cry
It’s as if she’s alone in a world of unknown
