And I Knight You Sir Candy
Your chocolate eyes make my stomach rumble,
Your smile induces a false sugar high.
Your velvety voice makes my self control crumble,
You make me stumble and fumble and lie.
When I am near you my blood starts to pound
Like vodka laced lattes crowned with whipped cream.
Your royal self gives off a sweet, honey sound
That cloaks me in marshmallow, graham cracker dreams.
Your touch is like sizzling, sour pop rocks;
They melt on my tongue as if your own love
Dissolved in my hand like jewels from a box,
And your candy-filled glances were really enough.
But of course they are not; nor meant for me -
Your maiden in waiting how lucky to be.
