The Race
The days of our lives are a constant race
Speeding through life with so much to obtain
We spend our time rushing from place to place.
Just cause we're winning we have much to gain?
We're pushing hard but the Jones' push harder
Make more money and buy a newer car,
a bigger house, get stronger, be smarter.
How much time in this race has past so far?
We desire to make the good times last
while achievement and need give you the drive.
The time in this race is going by fast.
but the winner does not make it out alive.
At the conclusion, when the race is done
You've rushed through your life but what have you won?
