Summer Love Sonnet
  Summer was a breeze -
  We danced in careless air.
  Whispers spread through rustling trees
As the sun kissed your hair.
The world was a kaleidoscope -
We twirled in its bright colors.
Our future was full of hope
This love was like no other.
  But the sun soon set
  And the air turned cold.
  I never did forget
  Our time of gold.
  But you forgot me
And our love just cannot be.
