Preparations of a Delicate Meals

It begins with water, a pot and spoon
Mixing the ingredients one by one
Cautious not to mix it all up too soon
Preparations to do before it’s done
Lentils, Lobsters, Lamb, Lemons and a Lime
Stirring Spices, Spinach, Shrimp, and a Squash
Simmer this delicious potion in time
Supper is soon, so it is time to wash
With a wooden spoon stirring it all up
See the colours that are blended around
Making sure everything is in the cup
Red, Brown, Green, and Yellow can all be found
Wolfed down in seconds with barely a crunch
Like a pack of wolves who just found their lunch
