Broken Girls Bleed Flowers
My veins are cracking, petals seeping out
White daisies growing from my broken skin
Deep, red staining petals, praying for a drought
Bones are crumbling at the touch, wearing way too thin
But this is what you told me
When I was drowning in my tears
The lost hope of a strangling plea
Following me through my years
You told me broken girls bleed flowers
Love seeds sowing the destroyed terrain
Drenching it in boiling hot showers
Growing, blooming, bursting from their chain
Now the dams are breaking, pouring into my splintered mold
But instead of running blood, this time my veins spill gold
