Summer
For as far back as she could remember
Her last happy day
Was in September
But now it is may
There isn’t a cloud
Up high in the sky
And the children outside playing are loud
But for her the days just slowly pass by
Waiting for summer
The season of the beach
The one she loved like no other
With no teachers to teach
She’s happy as can be
She’s next to the sea
