the lasting sound of a sigh
the thumping of a heart
the sound of a whimpering girl
as she morns for her sweetheart

he was gone forever
he would no longer be in her arms
he was now a part of a dream
living in the stars

as her pulse races
and her breath weakens
she asked God why
but never got the answer she was seeking

it seemed like eternity
since she had lost her true love
but it was only recently
God took him up above

no one could really see
what was going on
'til the night she killed herself
and then she was gone

she love him so much
no one could truly see
that this...
was the way it was meant to be

they are together forever
and now everyone sees
they were true loves
meant for eternity
